Search engines are tools that provide you with answers with information available on the Internet for your queries put forward to them. 

They basically have three main activities:

Crawl: Going through all the content and links in every single webpage of a website

Index: Storing the information gathered in a sensible manner so as to retrieve it fast as and when needed

Rank: Match the information already analysed to the queries put forward by the searcher

Focus on the following search engines:
